What you #39;ll doThe eCommerce Text Lead is responsible to guide the eCommerce Text Coordinators through their day-to-day tasks. In addition to ensuring the editorial quality of the texts displayed on the eCommerce platform of Sports Experts, Atmosphere and Trio Hockey, the Text Lead actively participates in the writing, in both French and English, of the product detail pages (footwear, apparel and equipment). The role of this position is to establish the team #39;s weekly priorities in order to ensure good performance related to the production of product descriptions (regular seasons and flyers) as well as to ensure the follow-up and management of various optimization projects.The eCommerce Text Lead is also responsible for the accuracy and the updating of the master database dictating the prioritization of work to the team. Also, this person is responsible to build weekly dashboards to allow the team and the eCommerce Manager to have a global view on the progress regarding the product descriptions writing. Finally, this actor will have to participate in various special projects related to the optimization of the eCommerce platform and be a key player in the optimization of intra-team and inter-team eCommerce work processes.Ensure the writing quality of the product specs and descriptions in French and EnglishResponsible for the monitoring and updating of the master listResponsible for the weekly performance reports concerning the writing of seasonal and flyer productsSupervise the Text Coordinators team and assign daily tasksParticipate in special projects concerning the optimization of the eCommerce platformEnsure the management and the successful completion of projects involving the eCommerce Text teamParticipate in the optimization of intra-team and inter-team eCommerce processesWhat you bringBachelor’s degree in communication or related field and experience related to writing3 years of experience in a similar roleExperience as a writer or a copywriter and experience in eCommerceBilingual, English and French (oral and written)Excellent command of Excel and must be comfortable with the Office 365 suite, Outlook, CMS (Orckestra an asset)Ability to adapt quicklyBe proactive and solution-orientedDemonstrate autonomy and leadershipEnjoy teamwork as well as team managementExcellent sense of organization and prioritizationGood analytical skillsGreat attention to detailHybrid We value flexibility.
