Job descriptionOxford Learning is a leading provider of supplemental education for children ranging in age from 5 to 18 years of age. We are seeking a well-qualified, highly motivated candidate to fill our position of Educational Assistant.Educational Assistant: Will help assist in directing and managing the delivery of all education programs in our Chomedey Center.Actively participate in the, training, scheduling, supervising and providing on-going motivation of our teaching staff.Performs cognitive and academic skills assessments on the children entering our programs.Will teach a variety of programs as schedules requires.Meets regularly with parents of students to form a bond and relationship while providing updates on student progress.Meets regularly with education professionals (principals/teachers) to promote and build positive relationships.Comprehensive training in the Oxford education philosophy program methodologies and delivery approach is provided.Requirements: Successful Educational Assistant in our system possess many of the following characteristics:· Enjoy working with parents and children in a positive atmosphere.· Thrive in a fast paced environment.· Comfortable with multi-tasking in challenging situations.· Set high standards and lead by example.· Are motivated by changing lives for the better.· Teach using challenging methods and innovative techniques.· Strong communication skills, both oral and written.If you have an interest in this opportunity, we would like to discuss your resume with you.
