With twenty years of experience, our team offers you a full range of well thought-out services, tailored to individual needs.We are currently looking for a talented Auxiliary Nurse who is concerned about the health of residents.The team of nursing assistants administers the medication and ensures that residents files are updated in the computer tool. They respond to emergencies and work in close collaboration with the head of health services and other departments (kitchen, dining room, housekeeping, reception, etc.).ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors home certification and the code of ethicsAdminister medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethicsContribute to the adjustment of a residents action plan based on their observationsCreate and maintain metuculous notes in related Dossiers in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières du Québec (OIIQ)Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)Promote and advocate for proactive care among residentsProvide healthcare and wellness services to maintain and restore residents health and to help prevent illnessRespond to all emergency situationsUpon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptionsUpon requests from physicians, pharmacists or the CISSS, follow up on residents medical dossiers and prescriptionsWhile interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursingPDSB trainingUp to date CPR / AED training certificatesMember of the OIIAQBENEFITS:Nightly Premium applicable at $0.75/hourReferral ProgramGroup RRSP (with employers share)Corporate discountsFree parkingUniform providedNightly Premium applicable at $0.75/hourAccess to a doctor in case of emergencyGroup insuranceOn-site blood test serviceVacationAccess to common areasbilliardgymmini puttbowling alleyTeam and sports activitiesHuman management approachTerrace and picnic area for employeesCar wash serviceJOB STATUS:Permanent: Part TimeJOB SCHEDULE:EveningQuick Apply
