Privately owned and based in Laval, Quebec, with a strong vision for innovation and optimizing the employee and client experiences, we continue to help generations of Canadian women to look and feel their best.Job DescriptionAs the Photographer, you will contribute to Laura’s success by ensuring all images are consistent with the LAURA and Melanie Lyne style guide and that production targets are met.How will you support the team

  • Photograph e-commerce images for ready-to-wear products.
  • Operate various photographic equipment such as digital cameras and professional lighting.
  • Use photo editing software to recalibrate, recrop, rename and send photos to retoucher following LAURA and Melanie Lyne guidelines.
  • Archive images and organize files.
  • Maintain LAURA and Melanie Lyne standards of quality control and art direction.
  • Ensure that all photo equipment is looked after and stored away correctly.
  • Shoot model casting when necessary.
  • Direct models during shoots.
  • Continue to stay up to date on industry and photographic best practices and procedures.
QualificationsThe people who thrive with us have/are:
  • Experience in the fashion industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of CaptureOne and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, studio environment.
  • Experience working in with Mac OSX.
  • Experience working with digital cameras and professional lighting equipment.
  • Able to shoot on models and flats.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
