Job SummaryAs a Shipping Coordinator for the technical Services team located at the Laval site, the role will be to coordinate, verify and perform shipment of Test/Control Item, biological samples and equipment.In this role,responsibilities may include:

  • Verify and organize Test Materials/Specimens/Equipment and/or live animals for Shipment
  • Shipment Packing/Labeling/Marking and tracking
  • Deal with Study directors plan shipment of their study materials
  • Verify and organize shipment through border via company courier
  • Fill appropriate documentation for shipment purposes
  • Ensure that work performed is in accordance with the requirements of a study plan and in full compliance with GLP, where these conditions apply
Key ElementsWe are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role :
  • High school Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge in Logistics, IATA and DOT certification, an asset
  • Knowledge and application of GLP, an asset
  • Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change
  • Work with precision, pay attention to detail, and strive for quality work.
  • Detail oriented and meticulous
  • Reading and writing English and French is required.
