Reporting to the Financial Reporting and Treasury Manager, this role is responsible for timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices. The candidate will be responsible for verifying and posting invoices, preparing payments, vendor communication, account reconciliation and information support to internal customers.In this role, you will:· Supervise and coordinate Accounts Payable activities for the organization, including providing supervision and daily leadership to the Accounts Payable Clerk.· Code and process vendor accounts payables and 3-way PO matching.· Prepare payments, electronic fund transfers, automated clearing house payments, cheques, etc.· Support vendor account reconciliation and resolve vendor reconciliation matters.· Liaise and support Employees, Support Staff, and Suppliers.· Work collaboratively with the payables clerk and finance team.· Handle prepaids and accrual of recurring expenses and reconcile such accounts.· Load various elements of the GP dashboard and reconcile to the financial results.· Share value added initiatives and ideas within the organization.You Have:· Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable, finance position or similar role.· Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.· Previous accounting experience with an ERP system preferred.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines under tight timelines.· Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence and autonomy.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office – with expert level proficiency in Excel.· Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.· Knowledge of IFRS is considered an asset.At STELIA North America, we know our people are our greatest asset.
