The company provides transportation services to a variety of industries including emergency medical services, hydro, oil and gas, mining, environmental, recreational, police, and military, and has a diverse project portfolio with operations in a variety of challenging and austere environments including Arctic/Antarctic, mountainous and desert environments.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking to fill a position of Financial Analyst Insurance and Costs, which will report to the Financial Analyst Inventories. The selected person will work with the accounting team located at the head office in Les Cèdres, near Vaudreuil-Dorion.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overseeing activities that are related to the handling and processing of insurance claims for helicopters, vehicles and other assets.Liaison between management, insurance adjuster and policy holder.Assemble and document all cost related to insurance claims for review bysenior management and insurance adjuster.Review status of aircraft components to determine insured value.Data entry of job tickets.Opening and closing of work orders.Data entry of daily deposits.Capital expense tracking, prepare monthly depreciation of aircraft along with capital reporting.Analyze inventory accounts and maintenance provision variances.Track and validate cost variances.Perform inventory obsolescence analysis.Participates in the annual budget processes and analysis of monthly variances.Produces management reports for various internal users and management.Participate in the year-end financial external audit process and reconciliation of accounts.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in administration, accounting/finance or related field, CPA designation an asset;Preferably 3 years’ experience in accounting and cost analysis;Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written);Proficient with Excel (advanced features); knowledge of AS400 an asset;Good communication and teamwork skills, self-starter;Good organizational skills.Additional InformationWe offer a flexible benefits program that include a complete dental and medical protection, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance and a pension plan.
