Canadian Helicopters has operated rotary wing aircraft since 1947 and is Canadas largest helicopter operator with 25 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircraft.The company provides transportation services to a variety of industries, including emergency medical services, hydropower, oil and gas, mining, environmental, recreation, police, and military, and has a diverse project portfolio with operations in a variety of complex and austere environments including Arctic/Antarctic and mountainous and desert environments.Canadian Helicopters currently has a career opportunity for a Technical Services Coordinator based in Les Cèdres, near Vaudreuil-Dorion.Job DescriptionThe Technical Services Coordinator will report directly to the Technical Services Supervisor and will be responsible for the timely review of all incoming aircraft maintenance documentation and the related updating of computerized and hard copy records.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shall promptly process all incoming maintenance log pages, company work orders and rotable parts received from outside vendors and shall update company computerized and hard copy aircraft and component records as required.
  • Shall identify calculation errors in aircraft log entries and communicate the discrepancy so that the error can be corrected.
  • Shall update engine and component technical logs with Service Life Limit (Retirement Life) and overhaul/inspection life changes, installations and removals, repairs and modifications and pertinent maintenance activities.
  • Shall produce and send out current aircraft reports related to inspections and components from the computerized system on a regular basis as required.
Qualifications
  • College Diploma in administration, aviation, or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in an equivalent position is an asset;
  • Must hold the authorization to work in Canada, this position is not available for sponsorship;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities;
  • Good computer skills, MS Office (Word, Excel);
  • Knowledge of AS400 program is an asset;
  • Excellent organization and planning skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Autonomy and initiative;
  • Ability to work within a group environment;
  • Good communication skills in English, spoken and written;
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset;
