Job Description

Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Guard!Are you passionate about public safety and customer service Paladin Security is looking for professional, dependable, and proactive Security Guards to join our team in Lethbridge. You #39;ll be deployed to various retail sites to help keep environments safe and welcoming for customers, clients, and staff.Pay: $18.00–$19.50 per hourCompany: Paladin SecurityType: Full-TimeResponsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons
  • Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
  • Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedic resources
  • Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
  • Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reports
  • Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
  • Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
  • Handle Lostamp; Found items and inquires
RequirementsMust-Haves:
  • Valid Alberta Security License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to walk long distances and climb stairs
  • Able to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
  • Not planning to return to school in the next 6 months
  • Must be a resident of the Lethbridge area
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Unrestricted)
