Job Description

Green Acres Foundation is looking for Health Care AidesDo you have at least two years work experience in providing personal care to individualsGreen Acres Foundation is offering on the job training to team-oriented multi-taskers who are flexible, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, and who are committed to achieving recognition as a Health Care Aide in Alberta.Candidates must have at least two years experience with the following:

  • Providing assistance at mealtimes
  • Assisting with grooming, dressing, elimination, and hygiene
  • Assisting with tidying, cleaning, and disinfecting
  • Encouraging and assisting with mobility
Requirements for the position:
  • A minimum two years of related experience.
  • Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Ability to work full-time hours (during training program)
  • Ability to work in Lethbridge, Coaldale, AND Picture Butte (during training program)
  • Current Class 5 driver #39;s license
  • Your own mode of reliable transportation
