Job Description

We are welcoming applications for a Learning Resources ManagerThe City of Liverpool College is the only general FE college in the city and the largest FE college in Liverpool City Region.It offers the widest, most diverse vocational curriculum in the region and ranges from entry up to degree and post-graduate levels and currently serves more than a third of all the 16-18 year olds in Liverpool and educates almost 12,000 learners each year,with all courses being delivered to the highest standard of learning. The support staff at the college play a vital part in ensuring that these courses are delivered to the standard of excellence we hold ourselves to, whether through supporting the students directly in their learning, or indirectly through business support rolesthat keep the day to functions of the college running smoothly.We are looking for high quality applicant for the following role:Learning Resources ManagerFull TimePermanent£35,137 - £37,259The RoleTo contribute to achieving an excellent student experience, and provide access to both learning resources and information services, across the organisation via a network of learning resource centres and reception service desks.You will manage a team of library and reception staff, delivering a converged service model across 5 main College centres.You will have previous managerial experience including management of staff teams, budgets and resources.You will form part of the wider Student Services management structure, working closely with colleagues from Student Finance, Catering and Childcare teams.Responsible to: Head of Student ServicesDon’t meet every single requirementWe know that sometimes people can be put off applying for a job if they think they can’t tick every box but we realise the ‘perfect candidate’ doesn’t exist.
