Job Description

Apex Oilfield Services is a privately owned company providing innovative rental solutions to the Canadian energy and infrastructure sectors.As a thriving organization, we are looking to expand our team and seeking full-time, permanent Centrifuge/ Solids Control Technicians to support our Lloydminster branch. This position will be rotational based and require frequent travel within the area to rig up, service and optimize our solids control fleet.What We Offer:

Responsibilities include:
  • Servicing, maintaining, and optimizing our suite of solids control equipment in the field (pumps, tanks, centrifuges and stands)
  • Performing rig-ups to customer specifications
  • Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing any items in the shop or field found to be deficient
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality control and organization
  • Adhering to all company and industry procedures and safety requirements
  • Working in the shop, yard, and other areas as required
The desirable candidate will be self-motivated and will possess:
  • Previous rig, solids control, or derrick experience is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • The ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability and desire to learn
In order to be employable by Apex, you must complete a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, have a driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract and hold all necessary safety tickets.
