Job Description

Job descriptionAs a Guest Service Agent, you are required to provide Guests with exceptional customer service starting from check-in through check-out. A Guest Service Agent is the first point of contact and the first impression for guests therefor you will be responsible for performing the following tasks with the highest standards:

  • Provides customer service and handles administrative duties that are routine and straightforward, such as the check-in and check-out of guests & handling guest concerns
  • Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure that the Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
  • Follows established procedures and policies when completing tasks
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
  • In the morning, help the the breakfast / kitchen if needed
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
  • Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of credit cards, debit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
  • Verifies the accuracy of their daily inputs, including payment transactions, and submits their daily shift audit for review by the night audit
  • Communicates with housekeeping in order to deal with early check-ins, late check-outs, day rooms, unexpected departures, stay-overs and room changes
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Adhere to Company Brand Standards
  • Performs additional duties assigned by Management.
RequirementsGuest Service Agents are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
  • Previous experience in a hospitality industry / customer service
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest
  • Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Knowledge on Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
  • Must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residents
  • Residing in Lloydminster & Area
  • Can work any shift (Morning, Evening & Night)
