Job Description

League Projects Ltd.League Projects is a leading oilfield construction company that provides quality Pipeline Construction, Pipeline Integrity, Facility Construction and Module Construction to western Canada’s energy sector.Position Title: Rig Welder**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ASAP**Location: Various Project Locations throughout Western Canada, primarily within Alberta and British ColumbiaDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding procedure specifications
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Majority of work will be in-field small diameter pipeline and may involve custom fabrication, pressure vessels and above ground pipe
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Must possess a strong work ethic combined with an acute safety awareness
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy while working with a variety of individuals
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Journeyman Welder Certification
  • quot;B quot; Pressure Welding Ticket
  • Valid First Aid
  • Valid Ground Disturbance
  • Drivers license
  • Previously experience working on TransCanada jobsites considered an asset
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 5 years pipeline experience required
  • CWB certification
