Job Description

THE ROLEJoin Triovest as a Maintenance Technician for LloydMall in Lloydminster. The primary responsibilities of this role are the day-to-day maintenance and general up-keep of the grounds and building(s), including preventative maintenance programs. You will also provide guidance and problem solving to contracted employees to ensure the efficient and cost effective completion of repairs and maintenance. Inclement weather may require you to start work earlier or end later. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
  • Oversee general tidiness of property (75% exterior & 25% interior) and assisting contracted staff with seasonal duties including landscaping, mowing, snow and garbage removal.
  • Daily pickup of garbage, cardboard and recycling.
  • Plan, prioritize, perform and monitor preventative maintenance, including: painting, plumbing and other minor repairs as required.
  • Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily inspections of the property (internal/external).
  • Assist with the set-up and take-down of promotional events.
  • This role requires you to work outdoors during different weather conditions.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
  • Maintenance experience in a commercial or retail building.
  • Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards and WHMIS.
  • A basic First Aid Certificate.
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform work on ladders.
  • A valid driver’s license with no infractions.
