Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and outstanding courteous customer service to customers by providing product information and location of goods in the store at all times.
  • Pack grocery orders efficiently, according to company expectations.
  • Provide efficient and courteous car service as required.
  • Keep supply of available carts to maximum by returning carts to the store.
  • Verify prices on goods for cashiers, quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for filling shelves with the many products that the grocery department carries.
  • Maintain a continued supply of stock in the grocery department and to ensure cleanliness and a neat, tidy display of goods in the department.
  • Notify the Department Manager/Supervisor of out of stock items.
  • Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties as per Association standards.
  • Maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
  • Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Department Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
  • evenings and weekends (part-time)
Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Previous experience being a delivery driver and working in a grocery store would be considered an asset.
