Job Description

Job DescriptionAECOM is looking for an Air Quality Engineer with expertise in odor control, industrial ventilation, and air pollution to be based out of our Markham, Mississauga, Hamilton, Montreal, or Calgary offices. This position is a full-time role.The position responsibilities will include but not limited to:General

  • Understanding of various Industrial, Municipal and Chemical sector processes
  • Knowledge of odour control and air pollution control systems and concepts
  • Process calculations and equipment sizing
  • Equipment specifications development
  • Design concepts development
  • Preparation of technical documentation and reports
  • Work with internal project teams and external clients
  • Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope
  • Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories
  • Involvement with the project execution and client meetings
  • Involvement with QA/QC of the drawings and technical documents
  • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
Field Work
  • Installation, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of the air monitoring equipment
  • Air flow, pressure and temperature field measurements
  • Coordination with equipment suppliers and laboratories
