We believe in offering an engaging, inclusive and supportive work environment where each team member can thrive.Your contribution!Reporting to the Vice President - Tax, you will participate in the development of tax strategies in line with the company #39;s growth and business objectives. You will also contribute to the mission and objectives of the Innergex Tax Group.Your day-to-day!

  • Collaborate on certain aspects of taxation for the Innergex group, including Canadian and international tax matters, or with respect to a foreign jurisdiction where Innergex operates a business. More specifically:
  • Help Innergex deal with certain tax laws and compliance requirements;
  • Participate in the development of tax policies and processes, including transfer pricing;
  • Help coordinate certain aspects of tax compliance;
  • Coordinate certain exchanges with tax authorities on certain aspects of taxation;
  • Review financial projections to coordinate certain aspects of taxation for the Innergex group;
  • Manage or collaborate on certain transformation and continuous improvement projects for Innergex #39;s tax department, including:
  • Help optimize the tax aspects of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation;
  • Participate in the development of certain tax processes and devise initiatives to automate them in collaboration with other team members;
  • Coordinate certain technological aspects of Innergex #39;s tax function.

  • Bachelor #39;s degree in accounting (or other relevant discipline);
  • Master #39;s degree or diploma in taxation completed or about to be completed;
  • 1 to 3 years #39; relevant experience in a similar position, ideally in a firm;
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing and international taxation, an asset;
  • Knowledge of standard tax software, such as Taxprep, an asset;
  • Knowledge of a relevant accounting platform, Oracle, an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel;
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written; Spanish an asset.

  • The position will be based at the company #39;s head office located in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
  • This position is a P2 level.
