Send us your resume and join a people-centric company with a reputation of excellence.Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Procurement, you will join a team that manages procurement for UAPs Heavy Vehicle Division. This team is responsible for the efficient management of supply operations and for resolving issues with both suppliers and internal customers.You will join the procurement management team where you will have to pursue the implementation of a customs compliance structure. To this end, you will have to evaluate the current practices, establish the best standards and how to comply with them.You will be responsible for setting up a system that allows us to easily access documentation by product. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance and the availability and updating of information required for the export of products. You will also work in collaboration with the product management team to minimize customs fees. Finally, you will be the internal reference for customs compliance in order to support, advise and train our team responsible for distribution operations.QualificationsTo join our team, you need:

  • College diploma in transportation or logistics coupled with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a customs compliance role
  • Certification in customs compliance;
  • Very good knowledge of customs fees, Canadian and American customs procedures as well as international trade regulations;
  • Knowledge of the different brokers and carriers and Canada/US/Ocean shipping routes;
  • Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills in French and English, spoken and written;
  • Autonomous, proactive and strong analytical skills.
