Job Description

Our platforms and services empower businesses around the world, allowing them to generate billions of dollars in transactions on an annual basis.Our Strategic Sourcing team is looking for a Manager, Development who will work closely with the different teams involved in ensuring the success of the solutions. Reporting to Normand Massé, Director, Development, the incumbent will lead the implementation and alignment of development practices and processes in support of key business objectives, create the strategy, vision and direction for the team, improve capabilities, processes & tools and define best practices.Main responsibilities:Manage team leaders and their employees for a team averaging ten (10) to twenty (20) people;Participate in the establishment of technological visions for vertical and/or horizontal markets;Manage the responsibilities and general operational, budgetary and financial activities of the Development group;Be a reference for the Development group. Contribute to technological decisions/direction;Lead employees to meet the organization’s expectations in terms of productivity, quality and achievement of objectives. Suggest ways to organize structure at a tactical level to obtain the expected results;Lead employees through a performance management and development process;Show courage in order to address difficult situations and cases;Contribute to the continuous improvement of all IT-related processes;Monitor projects and the progress of tasks and manage problems related to projects;Demonstrate creativity in problem solving;Deliver complex projects and initiatives;Collaborate with business clients;Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate information about the organization;Coach and develop employees, including overseeing the integration of new employees;Train teams with the appropriate skills;Foster a team spirit and unity;Advance each member of their team in their career development.
