Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Sales Consultant- Retail will promote and sell a portfolio of technical and nontechnical pet products and services and solutions directly to current and new customers in the province of Quebec. In this role, you will conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers and assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.**This role offers an open to remote opportunity within the province of Quebec.** Key AccountabilitiesEstablish and build product relationships with territory accounts and distributor field representatives.Perform telephone selling and screening to provide input on new markets and product introductions and existing products or supplies.Monitor and respond to customer concerns and problems.Arrange and provide for shipment and product demonstrations.Handle a variety of moderately complex problems, referring to policies and practices for guidance.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum QualificationsMinimum of two years of related work experiencePossess a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employmentMust be able to travel up to 80% within the province of QuebecMust be willing to work a flexible work schedule to meet business demandMust be bilingual in French and English (reading, writing and verbal communication)Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred QualificationsPrevious sales experience within pet food industryExperience with MS Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook)Cargill is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing accommodation to our job applicants with disabilities.Quick Apply
