Job Description

Aviya Aerospace Systems is a leader in engineering services and solutions for mission critical Aerospace and Defense applications. Aviya provides expertise in program management, systems, software, mechanical, and hardware engineering to many of the top-tier Aerospace and Defense Contractors. We have an immediate opening for a Technical Design Project Coordinator to join our engineering group at our Longueuil office.Specific Position Duties

    • Perform engineering design and project coordination tasks to evaluate and incorporate various supplier requested drawing changes (electrical and mechanical components).
    • Perform engineering design and project coordination tasks to assess, validate (tests, analysis) and approve manufacturing source changes.
    • Lead projects with supplier, engineering disciplines and multifunctional IPT.
    • Define project scope, timeline and budget requirements.
    • Complete and document multiple design and project coordination tasks into various systems (PLM, CATIA, Excel databases, etc..)
Qualifications for Position
    • 0-4 years experience in Engineering Design or Project Coordination role. New graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Bilingual (English/French).
    • Engineering/Technical aptitudes (reading drawings, design consideration for fit, form, function).
    • Ability to adapt and to cooperate in a team environment.
