Employment OpportunityDate: November 25, 2021Bulletin No. 21-22 067Position: Kids at Play (K.A.P.) Instructor & Support Worker – In this capacity you will support the instructor andwork with our Kindergarten aged students providing them learning experiences necessary to develop anunderstanding of key concepts and to develop social skills through interaction and playful activities.This program runs during the regular school year (September to June)Location & Assignment:

  • École St. Adolphe School– Support Worker - 3.0 hours per day (morning)
  • École St. Adolphe School– Instructor - 3.75 hours per day (afternoon)

Start Date: ImmediateClosing Date: Thursday, December 2, 2021The successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
  • Applicants who have obtained their Early Childhood Certificate Level II or III will be given first
consideration;
  • Other related training and experience in a related field will also be considered;
  • Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills;
  • Proven ability to work with young children
  • Ability to work as a team with the program facilitator
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Creativity working to support learning programs for young children
  • Ability to create a positive learning environment
  • Ability to organize and participate in recreational activities such as games
  • Observe and monitor children’s play activities
  • Keep records/daily observations of children
  • Must communicate in English; ability to communicate in French would be an asset
