Job Description

Employment OpportunityDate: November 10, 2022Bulletin No. 22-23 103Position: Gr.1 Teacher Assignment: 0.5 term (available until June 30, 2023)School: La Salle SchoolClosing date: Thursday, November 17, 2022Start Date: December 1, 2022The following skills and experience are required:

  • Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  • Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Early Years students and parents
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Grade 1 curriculum
  • Previous experience providing appropriate programming for all learning styles
  • Previous experience working in an environment with EAL students and students with Special Needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers and related software applications
