Job/Position OverviewYou will be responsible for all studio logistics, including but not limited to production scheduling, personnel requirements, equipment management, communication with stakeholders and assisting in department expenditure.Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in either film production, broadcast media or studio production and/or education in lieu of experience years
  • 1+ years of studio/film coordinator experience
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft office/Google Apps
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational abilities
  • Excellent time management
  • Fluent English in both spoken and written
  • High level of communication skills and comfortability talking with a large variety of people, in person and remotely.
  • Valid BC driver’s license
Nice to have:
  • Diploma/degree in production/film/audio/broadcast or similar
  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of Asana and Slack workflows (or related task and communication apps)
  • Production design experience (set, lighting, wardrobe)
  • Valid Passport
Key Duties:
  • Schedule content productions for all Musora Brands (Drumeo, Pianote, Singeo Guitareo)
  • Coordinate production projects with the studio and video teams
  • Communicate with main stakeholders of each production
  • Assist in studio growth and innovation with the Studio Manager
  • Coordinate projects between Content, Marketing, Community and Production departments
  • You are the bridge that holds production with every other department together at Musora.
Responsibility:
  • Managing all up and coming production ideas and creations, with artists, equipment and financial costs. This information is confidential.
  • Studio scheduling conflicts. It is the studio coordinators role to provide every production with all the appropriate resources and studio time allocation. Failure to do so may result in financial loss, staffing frustration, equipment costs and the inefficiency of company and staff time.
  • This role will also be responsible for last minute scheduling changes resulting in artist cancellation or content modification, and must inform all personnel of these changes with focus on reducing wasted staff and studio time.
  • All studio expenditure will be managed through the studio coordinator role, and therefore must meet financial targets, month to month planning and communicate clearly with the Studio manager of any issues or overspending. This financial responsibility is confidential.
  • The studio coordinator will provide appropriate decision making based on scheduling data, and production performance to inform stakeholders about best studio practices, and to identify resources for future projects
Work Conditions:Environment:
  • Office space is an indoor and open concept; there is the possibility of distractions and noise throughout the day.
  • May travel both domestically and internationally depending on the production and project 1-2x a year.
  • Occasionally work outside of normal business hours for artist requirements, scheduling changes and personnel arrangements
  • Ability to work remotely, 30% remote / 70% in office (Please note, the first 6 months of this position will be in house to develop a thorough understanding of how the studios operate and to build relationships in person across each department)
