Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated marketing expertise who is passionate about education and enjoys providing help for those who want to promote themselves through our training programs.• Job title:Marketing Coordinator• Terms of employment:Permanentamp; Full-Time Position• Location:800 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, NS B4E 1R8Key responsibilities:1. Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities, find answers about inland and oversea consumer requirements, and negotiate media coverage. 2. Research on conditions of local and oversea market, gather information to determine potential sales for the college, including gathering information on competitors’ prices, sales and method of marketing and distribution.3. Create branded advertising campaigns and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content.4. Manage and maintain social media accounts, answer web queries related to sales and promotion opportunities. 5. Setup tracking system for online activities such as volume read trends on topics, positive/negative customer reviews, interest and concerns from key stakeholders, online testimonials, etc.6. Develop and implement strategic marking initiatives and activities that include print, broadcast, and online content.7. Manage assigned marketing projects and traffic all marketing efforts to appropriate channels, like marketing consultation, establishing goals, strategies on implementation; and working collaboratively with college personnel to help advance the goals of the college.8. Develop and manage internal communication system.9. Collaborate with marketing team and other professionals to create, maintain, and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenue, such as meetings and conferences, newsletters, interviews, public surveys, etc.10. Simplify any complex marketing data into user-friendly format like charts and graphs, for clients or management.11. Evaluates the effectiveness of marketing and promotional efforts (campaign results, internet platforms, surveys etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies. 12. Maintain confidentiality on sensitive information.Job Requirements:• Qualifications1. College diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing/business/communications or related (essential).2. At least 2 years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations.3. Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.4. Solid organizational skills and detail oriented5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.6. Creative thinking and goal-oriented7. Good verbal and communication skills8.
