Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working and knowledgeable automotive dismantler to join our team at D&M Auto Recycling. The perfect candidate is knowledgeable about anything with four wheels and an engine, not afraid to get dirty, and happiest when elbow deep in car-parts. This is an experience-required job, candidates are expected to have worked in the automotive industry previously. The other members of the dismantler team are professionals and we are hiring someone with equal skill and understanding. Duties include:-Disassembling vehicles for parts. As the job title suggests, the majority of your time will be spent pulling parts large and small, engines, transmissions and making vehicle cuts. Being able to recognize damaged parts at a glance or having the knowledge to efficiently pull components without damage is the most important aspect of this job.-Full knowledge of tools. From cut saws and air tools to the humble wrench, successful candidates are comfortable using each and every one.-An eye for organization and cleanliness. Keeping your work area safe and tidy is an important factor for a busy shop like us to stop work place accidents and maintain a professional environment.-Working with your peers at D&M. There are many working parts here at D&M, so maintaining a professional and friendly attitude with your coworkers is key to your success.D&M is proud to be a company with a low turn-over on our employees, we feel that treating our team right makes them happier and more efficient.
