Job Description

3D ArtistHB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf – presently working on PS4, XBoxOne, and PC. We have an opportunity for a 3D Artist to join our team of developers, creators, and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development.As a 3D Artist, you will design and create AAA quality 3D assets that implement the vision of the product’s style and concept.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Art Lead to help visualize and develop game design.
  • Precise creation of the best models, concepts and additional assets.
  • Creates 3D models and textures for characters, environments, and objects.
  • Work with development team to prioritize and develop procedural assets to streamline art processes, workflows, and pipelines.
  • Create high and low-poly models using cutting edge techniques and pipelines.
  • Maintain the finished models throughout the life-span of the project.
  • Provides technical direction and guidance to Junior 3D Artist and Animators.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of progressively complex related professional experience.
  • Proficient with Maya, 3DMax, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer and Unity.
  • A reliable great teammate with the ability to work independently.
  • An effective communicator in both verbally and written forms.
  • A detail-oriented person with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
