Reporting directly to our Digital Practiceamp; Innovation Leader, you will be liaising between internal departments and suppliers, analyzing, and comparing product samples, and negotiating procurement contracts on behalf of our company. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions for the Energyamp; Resources (E amp;R) Business Operating Unit.Your Key Responsibilities- Work with IT and Procurement team to orchestrate and manage software; purchase, implementation, release, and rollout of E amp;R Solutions.- Manage the Software Asset Management for E amp;R Solutions and work with other Digital Practice teams on opportunities to streamline. Identify redundant software and eliminate it to reduce costs and improve efficiency.- Responsible for managing relationships with primary technical software vendors regarding software use, current needs, and future needs.- Support the Procurement Team to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure competitive pricing.- Software reporting: responsible for reporting on software usage and compliance. Provide regular reports to the leadership team to keep them informed of our software assets.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data models.- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.- Analyze complex datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.- Develop data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance data quality and efficiency.- Assist with new technology requests and business case data gathering for our BOU staff.- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and procurement.QualificationsYour Capabilities and Credentials- Knowledge of the unique technology needs of the Energyamp; Resources industry.- Knowledge of computer-aided drafting, BIM, quality assurance, project management, and design applications specific to the industry.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.- Proficient in SQL for data analysis, Python, R a plus, or other programming languages used for data analysis.- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Education and Experience- Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Business/Data Analytics, or a related field.- Proven experience as a software data analyst, contracts administrator or similar role.If you are passionate about data analysis, procurement, and driving business growth through insights-driven decision-making, we would love to hear from you!This description is not a comprehensive listing of responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other #39;s talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
