Offered in: ManitobaCommissionaires Manitoba is accepting applications for casual employment of qualified candidates for employment as Detention Guards in the Winkler, Altona, Morden police services. Detention guards are responsible to monitor arrestees/detainees to ensure their safety and security according to procedures and protocols established by the Police Services. Duties include but not limited to: – Ensure the safety, security, and well being of arrestees/detainees including performing regular checks. – Monitoring of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). – Assist Police Service members when required. – Perform escort duties as required. – Organize meals, and handle/dispense of laundry items, may be required to launder items as required. – Record all activities, maintain logbooks, complete written and electronic documentation. – Strict adherence to all Police service policies. -Training will be provided. – Applicants will undergo police screening by the Winkler, Altona, and Morden police services as part of the application process. – Interested candidate are requested to complete the online application.Quick Apply
