The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative duties for the DPN and DPN Prep program staff in Flin Flon. Theincumbent will work with all the divisions and departments within the university college and with external agencies including other post-secondary institutions and Indigenous organizations to ensure the effective implementation and processing of all academic and relatedissues.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Administrative Assistant Diploma or Certificate

  • A minimum of five years of related experience
  • A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Ability to utilize a variety of databases
  • Effective budget management skills
  • Experience with records management
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be dependable
  • Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures
