Job Description

Position Overview: *The National Field Operations Manager will be responsible for the installation, operation and performance of Enterprise Solution’s customer circuits including support 24/7. The position is responsible for leading a team of Field Operations Technicians and Contract Installation Professionals to install and support technical solutions for Enterprise customers. Development, training and onboarding of new and existing contract resources will be a key responsibility. This position is also responsible for ensuring a safe work place for all Field staff and customers and assists in the update of Industry Compliant documents to workplace and site compliance management companies. This position will also be responsible for ensuring that the dispatch of Dealers, Contractors and Field Crews to fulfill sold orders and service calls are done efficiently and within budget. The National Field Operations Manager will work closely with all departments and ensure that business operations run smoothly, supporting our customers and staff. Support of escalated issues by ticket and phone is required daily. This position reports to the Senior Field Operations Manager, Enterprise Solutions.Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensures customer solutions and support are delivered efficiently while adhering to defined procedures and standards.
  • Development, training and onboarding of new and existing contract resources, documenting process for 3rd party resource interactions.
  • Updating and documenting customer support and service delivery standards to improve efficiency and the overall Customer Experience.
  • Report weekly/monthly on installations, support calls and budget impacts (Overtime, Capitalization, etc.)
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Functions well in a team environment
  • Has a broad knowledge of business processes required in support of enterprise application delivery environments.
  • Previous experience with point to multipoint wireless networks and/or VSAT networks with an ISP would be an asset.
  • Background in the following technologies will be an asset: SNMP, HTTP, VLANs, Internet security software, VoIP, databases, email and web servers.
  • A relevant Diploma/Degree or a combination of practical work experience and education.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the operation of LAN and WAN environment.
  • CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
