Naval Combat Information Operators, also known as NCIOPs, help make tactical decisions in real-time. They’re responsible for sharing key information with the ship’s captain to help accomplish missions going on around the world. NCIOP’s accomplish this by operating all of the ship’s surveillance radars and related intelligence equipment. Life onboard a ship is more than just a job; you’ll develop close relationships that last a lifetime and be given opportunities to travel the world.Serve with the Naval ReserveThis position is for part-time employment with the Naval Reserve at certain locations across Canada. Reserve Force members usually serve part-time at a Naval Reserve Unit in their community and may serve while going to school or working a civilian job. While Naval Reservists usually work on scheduled evenings and weekends, they may also serve in full-time positions at some units for fixed terms, depending on available opportunities.Naval Reservists are not posted or required to do a military move. However, they can volunteer to move to another base.
