We offer a generous Total Compensation Package with health benefits, great pension planalong with the opportunity for personal and professional growth.DUTIESUCN is seeking individuals for challenging and diverse positions as instructors within the Faculty of Health for the Diploma in Practical Nursingprogram in Flin Flon, who is committed to excellence in teaching and promoting an interdisciplinary approach to care. The positions involveteaching theory courses, skills in a laboratory setting and facilitation of learning experiences in both the facility and community clinical settings.In addition to teaching duties, the instructors will be responsible for classroom management, student supervision and advising, maintenanceof student records and grades, curriculum review/development and other administrative tasks. Instructors will also assist with assignedactivities including University College promotion, student recruitment, and various program administrative functions. These positions mayrequire days and evenings and/or 12-hour shifts during clinical course instruction.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Registered Nurse with an Undergraduate or Graduate Nursing Degree preferred

  • An active CRNM membership with no restrictions
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in nursing is essential
  • A varied experience providing nursing care in Medical-Surgical, Mental Health, OBS, and long-term care settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand cultural influences and issues specific to Indigenous learners and mature students in Manitoba
communities
  • Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of the Indigenous cultures
ASSETS:• The ability to speak an Indigenous language
  • Previous instructional experience
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and delivery
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must complete a Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Adult Abuse Registry Check
  • Must have a current CPR - HCP Certificate
