Job Description

Note: Google’s hybrid workplace includes remote roles. By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following:Remote locations: Manitoba, CA; Canada.Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience in building prototypes for experimentation and validation of hypotheses.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in consumer electronic products and embedded systems.
  • Experience with operating systems, developer tools, and low-level software.
  • Experience working with developing managers on new software development.
  • Experience in developing software for custom hardware and software .
About the jobThe Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. Were focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.Responsibilities
  • Partner with Feature Development teams to define platform and Software Development Kit (SDK) backends for systems and build Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for operating system components.
  • Build and Roadmap PRDs for multi-device support.
  • Bring a user-focused approach to platform to create a consistent and robust user experience.
  • Partner with other platform and app teams inside Google to align approaches and build shared roadmaps for system platforms.
