Job Description

The Opportunity:For our Arborg, MANITOBA facility, we are seeking a:Service Packing/Inventory Coordinato rJob Summary: The Service Packing / Inventory Coordinator provides customer support to new and existing customers by fulfilling parts orders and shipments, and monitoring inventory. The Packing / Inventory Coordinator creates and maintains customer satisfaction through the timely delivery of top quality parts; cost effective service department; and supports other areas of the department when required.Accountabilities:

  • Packs and arranges shipment of parts for Service Department orders
  • Maintains inventory levels and ensure integrity of inventory is accurate by performing audit counts on critical items, and regular visual checking.
  • Communicates discrepancies with appropriate individuals and provides corrective actions.
  • Orders replacement parts as needed via job orders for manufactured parts and purchase order requisitions for purchase parts.
  • Updates service customer order record with all information for accessibility to all team members. Verify shipping invoices and prepare for approval to Customer Service Manager.
  • Manage and process damage freight claims.
  • Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir’s Safety Management System and continuous improvement programs and lead by example.
Qualifications:A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Hands-on experience with safely using hand tools, measuring tape, and power tools .
  • Customer focus driven with excellent communication skills.
  • The candidate must have effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Capable of working well with others both on the team and across the organization.
  • Values diverse perspectives and working with others as a way to achieve the best output possible.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills plus the ability to multi task are essential
