Company descriptionTwo Raynors Productions Inc. is a family run media production company in Ottawa, Ontario. We create content that is both entertaining and educational in a variety of fields.Job descriptionWe are seeking a video editor for the Sylvia Gani YouTube channel (2.5 million + subscribers). Sylvia is a cross-platform beauty influencer who specializes in makeup tutorials, product tests, fashion hauls, lifestyle vlogs and challenge videos. You will be required to edit a variety of video content weekly including YouTube videos, Instagram and TikTok vertical videos. You will work up to 16 hours weekly (at your own discretion), but will be expected to complete videos on a 2-3 day turnaround, including revisions. Please familiarize yourself with our recent content before applying (https://www.youtube.com/c/SylviaGani).Experience in the beauty industry, with makeup and cosmetic products is an asset as you will be required to differentiate between products and understand their functions as you edit the videos.You must be familiar with Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro X. Experience with graphic design and animation software is also an asset.Your will be required to:

  • cut down raw footage provided to an engaging video
  • integrate product B-roll seamlessly as required
  • perform basic colour correction where necessary
  • perform basic sound design (sound effects and music)
  • add dynamic titles and transitions to enhance the video flow
  • log your hours as you work (you will only be compensated for hours worked)
Please note: chosen applicants will be asked to edit one trial video (to be paid at $20/h), to determine who is the best fit for the job. You will be provided with raw footage, B-roll, music, any necessary assets and guidance as to the desired outcome.The job will then be offered on a part-time basis (also paid at $20/hour) to the best candidate. There is the possibility of taking on more hours if the position is a good fit.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 16 per weekSalary: $20.00 per hourBenefits:
