Description du posteThe Accountant position at AECOM plays a crucial role in supporting the Accounting Manager in managing cash flows, conducting reconciliations, reviewing contracts, and preparing financial reports and statements in accordance with accounting standards and AECOM policies. This role requires strong accounting expertise, proven analytical skills, as well as proficiency in both written and spoken English and French.The position is based in Markham l and is hybrid in nature, offering a combination of remote and in-person work.Key Responsibilities:• Project management, monthly reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, and financial reports.• Ad hoc analysis and proposals for improving existing analyses.• Responsibility for project cash management.• Preparation of payments and tax reports.• Handling general accounting for small international operations.
