Job Summary:The Clinic Nurse provided nursing care within the scope of his/her education and experience to patients in our Markham location. The Clinic Nurse functions in accordance with relevant legislation and Standards of Nursing Practice Registered Nurses as defined by the The College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals, help formulate a plan of care based on systematic assessment
  • Provide nursing care to patients according to the written plan of car
  • Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plan(s) and adjust accordingly in consultation with the patient
  • In collaboration with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals, help formulate a plan of care based on systematic assessment

  • Report incidents of unsafe practice or professional misconduct on the part of nursing or other health care provider staff, to the appropriate authority
  • Share nursing knowledge and expertise with other health care providers
  • Attend all required S.R.T. MedStaff Clinic staff meetings and mandatory education sessions
  • Adhere to CNO and S.R.T. MedStaff Standards of Practice
Qualifications:
  • Current registration (in good standing) with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN or RPN
  • Minimum of 1 year full time work experience as an RN or RPN
  • Current CPR (BCLS) Certificate
  • Meet health requirements of the Public Hospitals Act
  • VSS within the past year of hire demonstrating absence of a criminal history/record
