Job Description

Heavy Construction Equipment Shop ForemanWe #39;re seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Foreman to join our growing Service Department.In this leadership role, you #39;ll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet of heavy construction equipment stays operational and our customers are satisfied.Responsibilities:

  • Lead Shop Operations: Oversee a team of technicians in equipment repair, maintenance, installation, and scheduling. Prioritize customer needs, dispatch personnel, and manage work order flow for efficient completion.
  • Customer Focus: Handle service requests, communicate repairs via the Modern program, and collaborate with the parts department for timely access to necessary parts. Assist customers with technical questions and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Administrative and Safety: Manage on/off-boarding of employees, maintain a safe work environment, and oversee shipping/receiving with the Office Manager. Collaborate with Sales on preparing equipment for rental. Travel may be required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a heavy construction equipment shop environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with service dispatch software a plus.
