You will be joining us at a very exciting time as we build the foundation for our future.POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Distribution Operations Manager, the PDC Supervisor supervises the operational responsibilities for the PDC, manages staff and makes recommendations on improvements to work flow.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supervise the operations of the PDC shipping/receiving tasks efficiently and ensure all operational deadlines are met daily
  • Safeguard that OHSAamp; JHSC rulesamp; regulations are met or exceeded throughout all PDC operations
  • Schedule staff, daily and long-term, to coordinate with current and expected workflow demands
  • Train, coach, develop, mentor and discipline PDC staff as required
  • Monitor and delegate workflow to ensure deadlines are met
  • Administer/improve daily/weekly/monthly workflow reports
  • Administer/improve employee productivity reports
  • Create open dialogue with staff and keep team informed of corporate direction and developments
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of equipment and machinery
  • Maintain both inventory and location accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the PDC(3R,5S)
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
  • Minimum 5 years #39; experience in distribution, logistics or supply chain management
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position preferably in a distribution environment
  • Degree/diploma in logistics/supply chain or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instruction
  • Ability to coach and manage others
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Team oriented and customer service focused
  • Valid MHE license: Reach Truck, Counter Balanceamp; Order Picker
  • Valid TDG certificate
