Job Description

Fountain Tire Vancouver - Marine Drive (828 SW Marine Dr) is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a 3rd Year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician!Salary: $27 - $32 /hour (based on experience)What each day will bring:

  • Something different! You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on
  • You could be inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing passenger or light truck tires/wheels
  • Everything from tire work to general maintenance to diagnostics to repairs, you #39;ll see it all

What kind of person are we looking for
  • A registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
  • Minimum of 5 years mechanical hands-on experience
  • Someone who is always willing to learn and try new things
  • This work can unpredictable, physical, wet etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
  • Able to mount and balance tires of different sizes
  • Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service and repair
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experience and strong awareness of working in a safety-focused environment
  • Valid driver #39;s license
  • Strong personal commitment to health and safety
  • Team player who is professional and organized
