Please visit the SRI career page at https://www.sri-hq.com/careers/learn-more.Overview: The Junior Program Analyst provides Contractor support to assist with performing a wide variety of complex computer functions in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, (NSWC IHD), Picatinny, New Jersey Detachment, and other Indian Head tenants such as Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity (NOSSA).Job Description:The Junior Program Analyst will assist with the distribution of materials and information within the organization and between department to include scanning of documents, performing editorial and quality assurance review of documentation, and maintain transfer or convert files of technical and programmatic documentation.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis of user needs to determine functions and cross-functional and cross function requirements (systems engineering, deployment, and sustainment) for a large-scale multi-tiered information system.
  • Assist with the establishment of standard and metric for evaluating information systems performance and shall recommend procedures for improvement.
  • Shall draft sound principles, project cost savings using COTS solutions, including analyzing and reporting on open systems architecture, acquisition, implementation, and sustainment objectives.
  • Shall research new processes for identifying, evaluating, and tracking program risks, participate in periodic meetings with configuration, and risk management team to assess and evaluate corrective action plans.
  • Shall be responsible for updating all required program acquisition documents plans and policies.
  • Administrative responsibilities include preparing draft briefs, presentations, and cost spreadsheets.
Minimum Required Skills, Education, and Experienceamp; Abilities:
  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent with two (2) years of relevant experience in a project related disciple.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively with personnel at all military and civilian levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical team members and partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be ethical and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
