We look forward to hearing from you!Please carefully read thequot;Other Information quot; section of this advertisement as there is important information regarding your application.DutiesA Cabin Safety/Aviation Occupational Health and Safety Inspector performs a variety of duties during the course of their work.Cabin Safety oversees commercial and private air operators to ensure operations are conducted safely and in accordance with the Aeronautics Act and the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Daily tasks can include conducting planned and reactive inspections to ensure compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations, evaluation of operator submissions, evaluate and recommend the issuance or denial of exemptions from the Canadian Aviation Regulations, and participate in working groups as required. Cabin Safety Inspectors also provide technical guidance on cabin safety regulations to other government departments, agencies, industry, and the general public.Aviation Occupational Health and Safety oversees the compliance to the Canada Labour Code Part II, and to the Aviation Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, of air operators in respect to their onboard employees.
