You #39;ll be supported by resources that make a positive difference in your life because, at Hach, we value your authenticity and want your talents to shine.The Opportunity:Hach is seeking a full time Field Service Technician I to join our team around the Moncton, NB/ Halifax, area.If you have mechanical/technical troubleshooting experience, and you want to find yourself in a supportive environment that challenges you, rewards you for high performance, has 4-day workweeks, and you are looking for a place to grow, this could be the job for you!What Will I Be DoingWorking 40 hours per week (with 3-day weekends every week except in the case of approved overtime), you #39;ll provide routine repair, calibrations, and preventative maintenance services for Hach equipment and instruments located on customer sites.In your company-provided Ford F-150, with all travel expenses paid for by us, you will be traveling at least 50% of the time, supporting customers.With this opportunity, you can plan to be back at home after the majority of your shifts; however, depending on customer need, training, and team coverage, expect overnight stays here-and-there at company-approved hotels - employee safety is one of our topmost priorities!What Qualifications Do I Need

  • Bilingual position - Fluent French and English are required
  • Previous experience with Preventative Maintenance and mechanical/technical troubleshooting is a must - we especially want to hear from you if you have previous experience as an Instrument Tech!
  • Proven ability to self-manage and take initiative; you are resilient, resourceful, and an expert at managing a busy workload with competing priorities.
  • You have a valid Driver #39;s License and clean driving record.
What Will Make Me Stand Out
  • You completed a post-secondary program in a Technical field of study.
  • You have previous experience in the environmental/water industry.
  • You #39;re a go-getter andquot;lifelong learner quot; who is motivated by a job well done.
  • You are technically, electrically, or mechanically inclined (a.k.a. you have a reputation for beingquot;handy quot;).
