Job Description

Killam Apartment REIT (TSX:KMP.UN), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.We currently have an opportunity available on our team for a customer focused, energetic Live-in Assistant Resident Manager or team/couple. This is a part-time role with a rent benefit as compensation, perfect for someone who would like to work a few hours per day as well as cover vacations and time when the Resident Manager is off.The building has a total of 118 units. There is a full-time Resident Manager on site.What you will do:

  • Shared on-call duties;
  • Daily cleaning (a few hours each day);
  • Tenant relations, inquiries, and rental calls;
  • Snow shoveling of step/entrances during winter months.
Who you are:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role;
  • Proven communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision;
  • Previous experience with Property Management industry and/or as a Resident Manager is an asset.
