Job Description

Sanders Contracting Inc of Merritt BC has an opportunity for an experienced Crusher Operator to set up and lead crushing operations in one of the company aggregate pits.The position is available immediately and duties include: Operation of various types of crushers, screeners and/or feedersOperation of various types of crushers, screeners and/or feeders.REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to operate various types of crushers, screeners and/or feeder
  • Has a working knowledge of the operation of a crusher, screen plant and feeder including required maintenance and operational change procedures
  • Keeps the equipment operational and the work site tidy.
  • Crushing experience is required and pay will be negotiated based on experience.
  • Maintenance of the equipment being operated
  • Participation in Safety training and meetings
  • Completing of all safety documentation and production reports
  • General understanding of the principals of crushing and screening.
  • Thorough knowledge of Safe work procedures around aggregate operations.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 50 per weekAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
