Job Description

Company descriptionPrimarily, Scw'exmx Tribal Council (STC) is an administration government under 4 Board of Directors from Coldwater, Shackan, Nooaitch and Upper Nicola Band. Tmixw Research (TR) is an umbrella under STC who works with the 2 bands, Shackan and Nooaitch. TR works with proponents within the forestry, archaeology and research department.Job description

  • Responsibilities-collect written data on knowledge of plants, trees, invasive species. Prepare detailed notes and an understanding of intermediate knowledge of compassing, mapping and using an IPAd. Great technical writing skills and communication skills.
  • Qualifications-Be physically fit for walking long distances. Have knowledge of surrounding area in Merritt, Kamloops, Princeton areas. Have Occupational First aid level 1 and RISC training is an asset with a driver's license.
Contract length: 6 monthsPart-time hours: 35 per weekJob Types: Part-time, ContractAdditional pay:

  • 8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:Yes. As the main driver you will have a partner who sits in the back with a mask on, or visa versa. On the site there will be masks available, with santisize. Once the job is complete for the day a Covid cleaning is prepared with a spray bleach and water.Education:
