Company OverviewUnity Cannabis is a modern licensed retailer of recreational cannabis and we’re opening up new stores throughout BC. Our flagship store is in Williams Lake, and our next location will be located in Merritt, British Columbia. This is an open call to submit an expression of interest in joining the Unity Cannabis family as our new Budtender for the Merritt Location. This full-time position may require weekdays, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will report to the Front of House Manager and will be responsible for all duties relating to customer care.Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensuring quality assurance and excellent customer service;
  • Maintaining knowledge of a wide range of products and accessories;
  • Providing customer education on Unity’s range of products;
  • Providing a smooth full-spectrum customer experience;
  • Assist the Store Manager with audits, purchase orders, and any other duties as required or assigned;
  • Maintaining a pleasant and organized environment;
  • Strict adherence to all policies and compliance, including Unity’s internal policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 19+ years of age
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, Word, and Excel;
  • Strong communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work well in high volume, high level of care, retail environment;
  • Ability to work as a member of a team;
  • Strong cannabis knowledge and passion is an asset;
