  • Prepare weekly drivers’ schedules
  • Provide support to Drivers, oversee training and cleaning procedures
  • Keep drivers’ employee file up to date and note when required updates are required
  • Maintain bus maintenance records
  • Scheduling bus appointments, CVIP’s and making sure licences are up to date
  • Prepare a weekly call list for the Relay Centre every Friday
  • Prepare a report for and attend monthly Board Meeting
  • Answer phone and radio
Required Skills
  • Knowledgeable with all aspects of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize work, problem solving, and multi-tasking
  • Ability to work with other community members such as the Board, Union, BC Transit and City of Merritt when required
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Education & Work Experience
  • Grade 12 Graduation and Minimum 1-year experience in a supervisor position
  • Additional Education/ Certification and /or experience working for a Board of Directors in a Not-for-Profit organization is preferred.
This is a part-time, 25 hours/week position. Compensation for this position will be based on qualifications. A Criminal record check and a COVID passport are mandatory conditions of employment.
